Hope Methodist Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Ian Beevers as its new pastor. Pastor Beevers will lead his first Sunday worship service on August 2, 2026, at 10:50 a.m. at the church, located at 2300 S. Main St. in Hope. The community is warmly invited to attend.

Pastor Beevers and his wife, Tiffany, come to Hope from Kansas, where he most recently served as Senior Pastor of Cawker City Methodist Church and First Methodist Church of Glen Elder. An ordained minister with a strong foundation in Scripture, he is known for dynamic preaching that connects biblical principles to everyday life, and for a ministry that extends well beyond the pulpit into Bible study, spiritual counseling, community outreach, and children's ministry.

Throughout his pastoral career, Pastor Beevers has led small-group Bible studies, launched youth and adult study groups, and coordinated confirmation programs and special events such as Vacation Bible

School. He has also served as guest preacher at churches across the region and has been active in community service efforts including food banks, toy drives, and outreach to local schools and the elderly. He holds a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Mana University and a Bachelor's Degree in

Business Administration.

“We are excited to welcome Ian and Tiffany into our church family,” said Joe Fishback, Chairman of the Administrative Board. “His heart for Scripture, his gift for teaching, and his commitment to serving the wider community make him a wonderful fit for Hope Methodist Church, and we look forward to all that God will do through his ministry here.”
